I watched the new Ted Danson sitcom last night.
And liked it. I might in fact be a special needs person (retard)
Sunday night I watched about 10 minutes of some crappy new Sally Field 'drama'...I liked it better when she was a nun and could fly. Or when she was a teenager and could surf.
I also watched that new show called Studio 60 with Matthew Perry. I didn't actually watch it with Matthew Perry...he just starred in it. It's pretty darn good. So far.
Have you watched any new shows? What should I be watching?
I love TV!
New season of Meerkat Manor starts Friday
ReplyDeleteI forgot to tape My Name is Earl and The Office last week...I'm retahded.
ReplyDeleteDoes Matthew Perry dress up as a meercat?
ReplyDeleteI notice someone picked up a Boston accent....
ReplyDeletePahk the cah in Hahvahd Yahd...
ReplyDeleteCould you *be* any more of a meercat?
ReplyDelete"Heroes" was pretty good. The Sally Field thing was okay, but if it never aired again I wouldn't miss it.
Oh, and the new season of "Doctor Who" starts Friday too!
ReplyDelete::Lois does happy dance::
No idea if he dresses up as a meercat...
Dear Lois:
ReplyDeleteI've already seen Doctor Who Season 2.
::smirks::
Hey Nooprah,
ReplyDeleteYou're practically ON the TV now-can I have your autograph?
Meerkat??? I'm guessing you put Katsup on your burgers.
ReplyDeleteLoser.
Jon Stewart had President Musharraf on his show last night.
ReplyDeleteHe gave him a Twinkie and then asked "Where's Osama Bin Laden?" Even the Pres had to laugh when Stewart asked him if didn't didn't mention the war in Iraq in his new book because "it was going so well."
Cake, very jealous. But I'll get over it. Am awaiting the season one DVDs from Amazon to finally see the unedited episodes.
ReplyDeleteOh, and...Meercat! Meercat! Meercat!
Meow. Sign your name if you want to criticize other people's spelling, bub.
Heroes was pretty cool, but Battlestar Galactica season 3 starts October 6th. Whoo hoo!
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately that's the day I'll be celebrating my wedding anniversary (even thouigh it's the 7th)Boo Hoo!
Yeah Lois,
ReplyDeleteClinky always criticizes MY spelling, but at least he's "man" enough to sign his name. "Clinky the Robot Boy."
Well, at least he doesn't sign as "Anonymous."
Yeah Lois,
ReplyDeleteClinky always criticizes MY spelling, but at least he's "man" enough to sign his name. "Clinky the Robot Boy."
Well, at least he doesn't sign as "Anonymous."
Anonymous was Hoagy.
ReplyDeleteJust for the record.
Well, I'm thrilled that UHD has started airing all of the Firefly episodes in HD. I only heard about how good the show was after the show was done, so I'm very happy that I can see it from the beginning now.
ReplyDeleteThey aired to pilot episode this past Sunday. I love watching new tv, that's old to everyone else.
I have Heroes sitting on my DVR. Please no spoilers....or at least warn me if there's gonna be a spoiler...
Ted Danson shows...Hrm. Can anyone name/describe the two episodes of Becker that had guest appearances by former Cheers actors?
(I love that Hoagy got scolded)
ReplyDeleteThat should be a show...Hoagy Gets Scolded!
Dear Boston Graf,
ReplyDeletePlease no Becker talk on the blog.
Love,
I Aint No Oprah
The heading of today's blog is I LOVE TV...it should actually read:
ReplyDeleteI LOVE LOIS.
(she just popped in and brought me two McDonalds Apple Pies)
I love that Hoagy posted anonymously, got scolded, got outted by NoOprah, was called "fancy lad" yet again, and hasn't even bothered to defend himself.
ReplyDeleteAre twinkies actually any good?
They're golden sponge cake filled with cream
ReplyDeleteYeah...they're good.
Yes, Twinkies are good. Not good for you, but good.
ReplyDelete"I Love Lois" Now THAT would be a great show...maybe a 1/2 sitcom in a block of shows including "Hoagy Gets Scolded!" and, of course, "MeerCat Manor."
I love me a twinkie.
ReplyDeleteMe too.
ReplyDelete"1/2 sitcom"
ReplyDeleteOoops. "1/2 *hour* sitcom", that is.
Good thing I'm not an editor or anything...
I really dig that Lois used the word "bub"--she's definitely on my roller derby team. Actually, if Hoagy is a fancy lad, he's on my roller derby team, too. But only if he looks good in fishnets.
ReplyDeleteI think I'll just call myself an idiot as a pre-emptive strike: IDIOT!
In re: TV, I wouldn't mind watching "The Ghost and Mrs. Muir." Some of Charles Nelson Reilly's greatest work...
Ya know, I'm sure I'll sound like a pointdexter (what else is new), but meerkats are kinda cute. I'd never heard of that show--do people like it or are ya making fun of it? They look like sorta nifty little beasts.
ReplyDeleteOh, hey! If we're handing out sitcoms, I want my own.
ReplyDeleteHow about "The Trouble with Cake" or "Cake!" or maybe "Cake's Company."
No? You wouldn't watch it? Damn.
Or how about "The Ghost and Mrs. Muircat?"
ReplyDeleteCharlies MeerKats.
ReplyDeleteMy Three Meerkats
My Mother The Meerkat
Gilligan's Meerkat
The Man From M.E.E.R.K.A.T.
Desperate House Meerkats
ReplyDelete::giggling::
Oh Cake, I'd watch:
ReplyDelete"How I Met Your Cake"
"Two and Half Cakes"
"My Name is Cake"
And if we're going retro...
"That Cake"
"I Dream of Cake"
"Hogan's Cake"
"Josie and the Meerkats, long tails and ears for hats..."
ReplyDeleteI heard "The Meerkat" was the name of a Jazz saxaphonist. Ain't that right Hoag?
ReplyDeleteLois:
ReplyDelete"My Name is Cake"! Perfect.
You get tickets to the series premiere!
Keen! I'll rent a limo now!
ReplyDeletePut it on Hoagy's tab.
ReplyDeleteYou people are a bunch of lowbrow Philistines. If I had a TV, the only things I'd watch would be:
ReplyDelete"Sesameerkat Street"
"The Meerkat/Lehrer News Hour"
"Meerkat Theater"
"Great Meerktaformances"
and maybe the occasional viewing of "Meerkat, She Wrote."
-- Lamont Cranston
What about "Inside the Meerkat's Studio"?
ReplyDelete>>>If I had a TV,<<<<
ReplyDeleteDear Lamont,
You're dead to me.
Dear NoOprah:
ReplyDeleteIs that covered by your insurance?
-- Lamont Cranston
