Joey was so phenomenal that he actually had Kobayashi eating his own vomit by the end! Really! If you puke, you are disqualufied. So when Kobayashi was trying to keep pace at the end, and puked, he covered his mouth and continued to eat qhat had just come up so as to not get dq'd.
Just to be clear, it was Kobayashi that puked, not Joey Chestnut.
The only things that Joey Chestnut ate were hot dogs and buns...And, in doing so, he did set a new world record. The previous record was only 53, and that had been held by Kobayashi.
It truly was "the greatest moment in American sports history"
ReplyDelete66 hotdogs with buns!?
ReplyDeleteOh sweet gawd, I'm gonna be sick!
I heard that nooprah can eat >67< in one sitting
ReplyDeleteI can do 15 tacos, but it takes an hour.
ReplyDeleteI couldn't pick up Joey Chestnut's jock strap....
66, huh...when you add up all the little rodent parts that were in those, he probably ate the equivalent of 10 whole rats!
ReplyDelete"I couldn't pick up Joey Chestnut's jock strap...."
ReplyDeleteEwww. Would you want to?
Never mind, I don't wanna know.
yum, rat-eating contest !
ReplyDeleteSonya Thomas ruined Cool Hand Luke when she ate 65 hard boiled eggs in under seven minutes.

ReplyDeleteI think maybe I just did the same thing, just reading that. ::covers mouth::
I can eat 15 bags of my own vomit.
ReplyDeleteBut it takes me an hour.
I couldn't hold Joey Chestnut's barf bag.
How 'bout them Yankees?
ReplyDelete(Sorry, NoOprah, but if you're gonna keep talking about puke, I'm gonna make you throw up in your mouth as revenge.)
Sorry, Cake, but the only people who are throwing up in their mouths at the mention of the Yankees these days are Yankees fans.
ReplyDeleteTrust me on this one.
