>>>>DHAKA, Bangladesh (AP) -- A powerful cyclone slammed into Bangladesh on Thursday night, tearing down flimsy houses, toppling trees and power poles, and forcing hundreds of thousands to flee their homes in the low-lying nation.<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<
So when there is a drought or famine why the heck can't these folks flee to where food and water is?
Huh?
More to the point; why do they keep building "flimsy houses"?
ReplyDeleteBecause they're starving and don't have the strength to lift non flimsy supplies.
ReplyDeleteWell sulking about it won't do any good. Maybe they just have to suck it up and build sturdy food stores so they can fill them with their fashionable nutbags just like squirrels do.
ReplyDeleteI'm thirsty and I live in a flimsy tree.
ReplyDeleteI got salt water in my eyeballs!!!
ReplyDeleteGet the hell outta my flimsy tree, damn squirrel!
ReplyDeleteLake Titicaca.
ReplyDeleteHa.
It's a great name for a lake.
I was outside this morning and it was raining. And I was hungry. So I went inside where it was warm and dry and ate a Pop Tart.
ReplyDeleteDo they have Pop Tarts in Bangladesh? Maybe that's the problem.
They should keep some breakfast bars and tangerines around for emergencies...that's what I do.
ReplyDeleteSilly starving people.
I wish I had some baconed haddock...
ReplyDeleteI'd kill and bake my very own pet haddock if it meant I could trade it for a pop tart.
