A truly horrific 5th anniversary is almost upon us.

The screams.

I'll never forget the screams of horror that gorgeous September 11th day. How such a terrible thing could be thrust upon the world is beyond me. Sometimes I wake at night thinking of how bad that sucked. One of the worst things ever. Just thinking of it makes me ill...makes me mad.

People woke up that gorgeous 2001 morning and had no idea what they were in for.

September 11, 2001. The day Bob Dylan released his Love and Theft album.

The horror.

The horror.

I'll never forget. I also do my best to keep it from happening again.

God Bless America...except for Bob Dylan.

I knew Bush had it wrong! Instead of looking for WMDs, he should've been looking for AMDs...

Me or Cake?

I'm all sweetness and light, so he/she obviously wasn't talkin' about me.

At least nobody pretended to die when they heard Dylan's Cd.

Oh-It was 9-11 and NOT 7-11?

I've gotta stop relying on Ali G for my news.

And Anonymous (who in THIS little section of cyberspace is called a "douchbag" because they post "Anonymously..."),

Need a Xanax? Or maybe some puppy meds?

We're one happy family here willing to provide the "Sarcastically Impaired" the medication they need.

Awww, isn't that sweet?

Cousin Steve has his very first nigh-incoherent psychotic troll.

As opposed to the regular psychotics who hang out here, that is.

Congrats, Steve- you've hit the big time!

Excuse me,

But I'm not a "regular" psychotic. I'm an AMAZING psychotic.

In sickness, there is strength. And even though I am both a Bob Dylan fan and a lifelong New Yorker, I still found this post funny.

Tasteless, unfortunate and downright rude, perhaps, but funny.

People people people. I'm sure that the first "anonymous" post was really NoOprah himself trying to create controversy. I mean, is anyone really stupid enough to get mad at something they read on the internet? That doesn't happen in real life right?

Waitaminute! That poster used "no" as in "to know something". Oh man, he really IS dumb enough to a) get mad at something on the internet and b) think that by posting in a community of like minded people he can make a difference when we clearly see nothing wrong with the humor he simply "didn't get". Aww that's cute.
